As May draws to a close, I wanted to open it up to the subscribers to chose the subject for June's blogging activities. The only limitation is that it has to be mainframe oriented, and should be of value to the majority of the audience. I will evaluate the feeback and decide on the topic early next week. Just post your suggestion in the comments below.

Beginning in July, I'm planning a series of introductory blogs related to z/OS, TSO/ISPF/SDSF, JCL, Utilities, VSAM, and CICS. I'll keep you informed as information becomes available.

It is very great effort and could be used as a good reference to all mainframers.

Thank you.

Great work ! This series is a very good reference for beginners like me.

My suggestion is a "Basic introdution to MQ Series" with pratical examples.

Thanks,

If the introductory blogs are as effective as the one currently being offered on problem determination, they should be great. I would a add ones on mainframe storage management and DB2 to the list you have already suggested.

I 2nd Fernando's request on MQ, however, another thought might be XML or DB2.

Thanks for such a good series.

I will check to see how well MQ is setup in my development machine. If it is not in place, this one may need to be delayed.

Any particular aspect of MQ that you want to deal with?
